Reporting to: Country Manager

The role:
To develop McCain's business in collaborative partnership with Key Accounts (QSR, MEU, Retail) “Quick Service Restaurants, Major End Users” to achieve market share leadership, in line with the company’s growth ambition. The role’s accountabilities in general:
• Develop and execute Account Plans and Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with Key Accounts in 3 channels i.e. Foodservice, Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) and Retail (if applicable), including performing regular operational weekly/ monthly performance review meetings and follow-up execution of JBPs e.g. in the areas of new accounts opening, sales/profit growth, SKU penetration, QSR contracts, LTO Limited Time Offer).
• Alignment and execution of global QSR strategy.
 Facilitate Top-To-Top (T2T) meetings between XXX senior management and the Key Account, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
• Optimization of Key Accounts category management (right SKUs, right price, right promotion, etc.)
• Identify new Key Accounts (QSR/MEU) and develop insight-driven strategies and selling propositions to support Distributors to open the accounts and grow the business.
• Facilitation of QSR and MEU menu expansion and penetration via sharing of insights, sampling, selling propositions and QSR/MEU requirements with distributors.
• Operations Management – ensure customer satisfaction/service levels achieved, and forecasting accuracy targets achieved.
• Time spent expectation: 80% engagement with Key Accounts (QSR, MEU) developing existing and opening new accounts, 20% internal


5+ years’ experience and knowledgeable in Key Account Management, preferably in either Retail/FMCG and/or Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
 Passion for food service and operators, they get excited to visit Chef/Operator and love doing Cutting/Demo (get hands dirty).
 Excellent track record of delivering consistent & outstanding sales results
 Highly results driven self-starter: self-discipline/ability to work independently and achieve goals/results with minimal supervision, growth mind set, resilience with “can-do” attitude
 Determination/Tenacity – evidence they never give up no matter how difficult the situation
 Strong time management/high personal productivity
 Local country language skills required, plus proficient English speaking & writing skills
 Good communication and interpersonal skills
