Company Overview

Our client, a Japanese MNC retailer with the presence of more than 600 stores globally is opening their doors for the very first time in Malaysia in 2020. They are looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their growing HR team

Job Description

• Establish payroll system and ensure smooth implementation of payroll system to meet business needs
• Work closed with vendor to ensure system is set up appropriately in compliance with local statutory requirements
• Involved in end-to-end payroll processing including payment, disbursement and statutory report submission
• Develop and monitor policies and procedures of payroll operations
• Act as an advisor to all staffs in payroll related matters

Requirements

• You must have a Degree/ Diploma in and field of study
• Comes with minimum 5 years of working experience in handling end-to-end payroll and benefit. Candidates with experience from retail/manufacturing (or any industry with work shifts) is highly preferred
• Adept in payroll systems and the ability to learn new systems
• Demonstrates good understanding in EPF Act, Income Tax Act and Employment Act which is applicable to payroll processing
• Candidate must be meticulous, independent, sensitive to numbers and good communication skills
