Builds client relationships, secures new orders from new customers, and maintains and expands business with existing client base in the area of cover
Develops monthly strategy for sales calls and prepares quarterly travel calendar
Conducts area market analysis of top accounts in each country– include natural stone dealers, contractors and Builders
Grows market share by increasing sales and sales volume while maintaining company profitability targets
Calls/On site visits with key customers including General Contractors, Designers, Residential Architects, natural stone contactors and natural stone businesses
Develops in-depth knowledge and expertise in regard to all company’s products and quarrying process
Develop, maintain and grow relationships with Architects and Designers in the area of coverage and keep informed about their projects to promote stone specification of company’s products during the design stage before they go out to bid.
Achieve or exceed all established sales goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Provide feedback and scheduled reports to management as indicated.
Attend and participate in special events and trade-shows as required by management.
Minimum of 10-12 years experience in B2B sales preferably on the natural stone/flooring materials sector
Well connected with the local architecture/design community with strong connections within the industry and an established book of contacts
Successful track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals in sales, project management (preferably within the flooring or luxury building materials industry)
University degree in Sales/Marketing/Trade is preferred
Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office applications and Google docs
Ability to listen to customers and understand their needs and objectives to better respond and provide solutions.
Demonstrate persistent, tenacity and consistency in pursuing revenue opportunities.
Must be able to exercise independent judgement and demonstrate solid time management and organization skills
Excellent written and oral knowledge of English is required. Knowledge of additional foreign languages is highly desirable
